La Blanchie is set in 10 acres of tranquil countryside and is set in stunning scenery and views. La Blanchie, not so many years ago, was a working farm where cattle and sheep were kept. It dates back at least 400 years and was also one of the largest farms in the area, but through the years the fields have been sold on to other local farmers where cows, sheep and horses are still kept. Our site is an easy drive from the N10 – no difficult roads to negotiate if you are towing! The flat orchard is bordered by fruit trees and set in beautiful rural countryside. Facilities on site include a ‘proper’ heated shower room with shower, wash basin and w.c. and a washing up area, both with free hot water. There is an above ground pool in a fenced and gated terrace area. The pool measures 7.5m x 3.5m and is for fun rather than serious swimming. It has a raised wooden deck around one side for easy access. We also have a laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer, an English book/video/DVD library, indoor games and outdoor toys to borrow.
