La Motte' is a family run site and offers a quiet and relaxed atmosphere. We are surrounded by beautiful forests with walks and trecking paths that are only a few minutes away. Situated in the Southern Charente Maritime and located within the Haute Saintonge trails. There are twenty five shaded pitches, all with electric hookup facilities. Our toilet block was built last year and has showers, wash-hand basins and seperate toilets. There is also ample washing up sinks for guests that require them. In addition, we have disabled access with full toilet and shower facilities. Fishing pool, We have numerous Angerlers points and offer rod hire and bait. La Blanchie is set in 10 acres of tranquil countryside and is set in stunning scenery and views. La Blanchie, not so many years ago, was a working farm where cattle and sheep were kept. It dates back at least 400 years and was also one of the largest farms in the area, but through the years the fields have been sold on to other local farmers where cows, sheep and horses are still kept. Camping La Viollière Situated on the edge of a small hamlet, in the lovely rolling hills of the Vendée, the two-acre camping meadow has beautiful views over the surrounding countryside. Tranquil and secure, there is no road adjacent, the only access being through our old farm courtyard. With a maximum of six vans/tents, there is more than enough space to pitch wherever you like and a 6amp electricity supply can be provided to the favourite areas. Our site is an easy drive from the N10 – no difficult roads to negotiate if you are towing! The flat orchard is bordered by fruit trees and set in beautiful rural countryside. Facilities on site include a ‘proper’ heated shower room with shower, wash basin and w.c. and a washing up area, both with free hot water. There is an above ground pool in a fenced and gated terrace area. The pool measures 7.5m x 3.5m and is for fun rather than serious swimming. It has a raised wooden deck around one side for easy access. We also have a laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer, an English book/video/DVD library, indoor games and outdoor toys to borrow.
