Héron is a gorgeous 2-bedroomed ground-floor gîte, formerly the farm stables! The ground-floor, flat level access and close parking ensure that it's fully disabled and wheelchair accessible. Many additional internal features such as wide doorways, grab-rails, special height plug sockets etc. have been designed for use by less-able bodied guests. As you enter the apartment from the shaded courtyard, it's immediately apparent that Héron is deceptively spacious! You enter into the huge living room, the centre-piece being 'Edna', the wood-burning stove which keeps you warm during the colder months. The exposed oak and chestnut beams add to the ambience of the building. Off to left and right are two large double bedrooms, one containing a very comfortable double bed, the other has two singles. For the larger family, we can also provide a sofa-bed in the lounge. There's a large family bathroom with bath and shower over, WC and hand basin, as well as a kitchen with gas cooker, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine, microwave etc. Freeview UKTV via satellite is standard throughout all of our gites, along with a large choice of DVD's suitable for all ages/tastes. Don't forget, if the two double bedrooms in Héron aren't enough for your party, you could also rent 'Owl', upstairs? (Bookings permitting). As Héron's warmed through by the woodburner as well as the electric wall heaters, it makes for a very cosy family retreat in the winter months too! Hibou is the newest addition to our nest! The first few families to stay in Hibou, before we closed it up for the winter loved the bright, airy space we've created! Hibou is our third fully self-contained apartment/gîte, accessed by the pretty, typically French outside staircase. From what used to be the huge hayloft for the stables below, Hibou was created and became 3 B&B rooms. We've changed things around internally and what was main en-suite bedroom has now become a huge lounge/kitchen/diner with its charming French windows overlooking the pretty, flower filled courtyard to the front, and a huge Velux window gives views over open countryside to the rear. Again, there's UKTV via. satellite and a DVD player along with a selection of DVD's to suit all ages/tastes. The bespoke kitchen combines old with new, in a way that we think really sets this gîte apart from the rest.There are two large double-sized bedrooms along the corridor, one containing a double, and the other has a bunk and a single bed, so it's ideal for families. Hibou normally sleeps mum, dad and up to three children. To accommodate larger families, we can arrange extra sleeping accommodation in using a very comfortable sofa bed in the large open-plan lounge/kitchen area, (for adults only). There's a lovely, spacious shower room with WC at the end of the corridor. A large travel cot, highchair and a safety gate are available free of charge upon request. Outside, we've set aside a lovely private garden area for you to relax and enjoy the sunshine. All furniture, loungers and BBQ etc. is provided for your enjoyment. There's plenty of space in Hibou for all the family, but there are some nice 'quiet' corners too. Perfect for enjoying a book, or a mid-afternoon snooze while the family enjoys the pool!

Chardonneret (or Chardonneret Elégant, to give it its full name) was added onto the end of what is now our house in 1843. (Spot the date etched into the stone to the rear of the barn!) Formerly an animal barn, it has been renovated and subsequently modernised to offer fully wheelchair-disabled friendly accommodation, with easy ground floor level access and specially widened entrance and interior doors.Wheelchair access within the gite is made easy with the open-plan aspect. Thoughtful touches such as accessibly positioned plug sockets and 'drive under' basins have proved popular with guests.Chardonneret is ideal as a romantic hideaway, or as an economical long-stay let while looking for your own property in the area. Chardonneret is essentially an open-plan apartment, large and roomy with a separate bathroom.A patio to the front of this little gem provides a lovely area to sit awhile and take in the sights and sounds, maybe stirring every now and then to add something to the BBQ! All outdoor furniture is provided, including table, chairs, BBQ, loungers and cushions etc

The accommodation comprises a principle room furnished with a 'clic-clac' style sofa bed, two easy chairs, dining table & chairs, colour TV/DVD (French stations) and a radio/CD/cassette player. Sliding patio doors open onto the good-sized balcony with table & chairs for outside dining. The separate kitchen has a hob, 'combi' microwave/grill/oven, fridge, coffee maker and ample crockery, cutlery, cookware and also has a door to the balcony. The bathroom has a bath with shower over and hand basin and there is a separate toilet. The apartment is all electric and has wall-mounted heaters. Bicycles are provided for our guests and are kept in the basement storeroom, also useful for storing luggage.

All the properties have patio tables, chairs and BBQ. There are also some sun beds. Bed linen and towels and tea towels are included in the price. Outside towels are not provided. If a change of bed linen is required a small charge per bed is made. You will find the properties are left for you in a clean a tidy manner. Beds will be prepared for you according to the size of your party, however no maid service is provided during the rental period and if a change of linen is required the renter not the owner is permitted to do this.
