If its accessories you are after, then Hall 2 is home to
a huge accessory megastore. With over 40 accessory companies,
there are 50% more dedicated products this year, you’ll
be sure to find what you need for your holiday on the road.
There is plenty to see with exciting features, as well
as your favourite clubs, magazines and holiday destinations.
Join us in Hall 2 for a gastronomic extravaganza with ‘Real
Food on the Move’. Celebrity chefs will be creating
meals you can recreate on your BBQ or in your caravan. Browse
the farmers market stalls, offering the best in locally-made,
traditional produce.
Kids (15 and under) go free and there is a crèche
for children aged 2-9 years.

Organisers of the February, National Boat Caravan &
Outdoor Show held at the National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham,
have announced their exciting new plans for the 2008 Spring
event.
Ocean are taking an extra hall at the NEC - making it a
five hall show - providing an extra 20% more space to allocate
to the show’s core sectors; caravans, motorhomes,
boats, park homes, holiday homes, tow cars and 4x4’s,
destinations and camping equipment. The extra hall has also
enabled Ocean to redesign the whole show layout.
The new six-day event will open from 10am to 6pm, Tuesday
19th February to Sunday 24th February, 2008.
The 48th event will be the biggest in the show’s
history, taking place in halls 1, 2, 3, 3A, 4 & 5 of
the venue and the largest outdoor leisure show ever at the
NEC. Over 650 companies will be exhibiting at the show.
Five entrances and wider isles will enhance product visibility
and make it easier for visitors to move around and navigate
the show.
As a result of the changes to the show’s format and
layout, leading manufacturers are taking extra stand space
at the show to display a wider range of the new 2008 models
and are undertaking exclusive launches at the February event.
Richard White, Swift Group Marketing Director commented,
“The new layout with wider aisles and more space makes
it much easier for people to find what they are looking
for and moves the show onto a new higher plain.
We will be using the show for several exiting new product
launches for both motorhomes and tourers and have increased
our space to take full advantage of the new format.”
The first major show of the new season, the event falls
at the perfect time of the year for tourist boards, campsites
and holiday parks to promote their facilities to visitors
researching their Spring and Summer holiday destinations.
Over 50% more UK and overseas destinations will take part
in the show - no other camping and caravanning show will
have so much choice on offer.
