Being completely separate from the rest of the park, the area for touring caravans is set in a beautiful woodland clearing, sheltered from the wind and providing a pleasant suntrap, with a small picturesque stream running by. All touring pitches are hard standing, with electricity supply and television hookup points.

The spacious centrally heated toilet and shower block is complete with facilities:- disabled/family room, dishwashing area, laundry and chemical emptying facility. All showers, and the use of hairdryers, are free. The season in which you are able to use your caravan is from March 1 to January 10.

Touring & Camping at the Royal Umpire Caravan Park
The Royal Umpire Caravan Park has a large touring area for Touring Caravans, Motor Homes, Trailer Tents and Tents with over 195 electric hook ups and fantastic on-site facilities. although please note that Tents are pitched on the Rally field area only and do not have electric hook ups available to them.

Bridgehouse Marina Caravan Park.
The caravan park is divided into two elements, Touring & Static.
The Touring area has 50 hard standing pitches with electric. There is an area for children to play. The modern toilet block is heated and contains showers, toilets, washing & shaving points, laundry, covered sinks to wash those dirty pots and pans and finally a toilet waste disposal point.

A lot of effort is put in to keeping the grounds tidy by our staff, so as to try and stay in keeping with its picturesque countryside location.

Claylands Caravan Park is situated in a unique position for those who like to explore the countryside, or to visit the many attractions that surround this beautiful area. Garstang is our local historic market town being just over 2 miles away from Woodlands
Country Park. The town boasts of being the first Fair Trade Town and has an extensive
range of amenities including a wide variety of small shops to large supermarkets, a weekly street market, leisure centre and golf club.

The popular Lancaster Canal runs through Garstang, with its narrow boats and marinas.
There are numerous annual events including The Garstang Agricultural Show. In Garstang
there is also a large selection of pubs and eateries.

Touring caravan areas are grassy, level and well drained, with plenty of open spaces for children to burn off excess energy. Touring pitches are clearly marked out, generous in size and have electric and T.V. points. Close by are toilets and showers, wash basins and shaver points plus a utility room for washing up, two laundry rooms and a chemical toilet disposal point.

There are currently over 50 pitches on the site. Gas is also sold on the Park. The touring area is open from the 1st March to 1st December annually.

Booking is essential for Bank Holidays and Summer Holiday weekends. Winter storage is available for touring caravans.There are also some touring plots available.As of 2007, we no longer accept tents on the park.

Holme Head Caravan Park is a family owned and run park which has been managed by our family for over 50 years. We are situated on the banks of the River Greta under the historic viaduct in Ingleton near the entrance to the famous Waterfalls Walk . Ingleton is often referred to as "Gateway to the Dales" due to the fact that the fine open country side of the Yorkshire dales is right on our door step.

We are only 5 minutes walk from the centre of Ingleton with its many attractions, shops and cafes. By car you can be in Settle, Lancaster, Morecambe or Kendal within about 30 minutes and Windermere and Skipton within an hour.

There are two excellent toilet facilities, including showers. No charge is made for hot water. Hair dryers for the ladies are available for a small charge.

There is a play area reserved for children.
Dogs are allowed provided that they are kept under close control and are exercised off the Park at all times.

Marina is a firm favourite with holiday home owners. Located on the picturesque Lune Estuary on the shires of Morecambe Bay close to Glasson Dock, the park is just 4 miles from the historic city of Lancaster.

Small and friendly, Marina boasts excellent amenities for your enjoyment. You'll find a warm welcome in the lounge bar, a cosy place to meet where you can socialise and relax in pleasurable surroundings. Summer evenings are enhanced sitting out on the floodlit patio overlooking the splendid outdoor heated swimming pool. A user-friendly shallow area ensure safety for both young and old alike. There's also an active bowling club and golf society, which home owners can join! Pride of place goes to the gardens, which are maintained with a justified pride.

This quaint little village of Glasson Dock complete with a yacht marina and picturesque harbour is just a short walk away along the towpath of the Lancaster Canal. This beautiful walk will take you right into the heart of the village. Alternatively, you can enjoy the coastal pathway with its magnificent sea views and tidal estuary. The local smokehouse offers local produce at its best and the village has small shops, a bakery, restuarants and tearooms.

Near Moss Farm Touring Park is an adult only touring caravan park with shower and toilet facilities as well as fresh water, power and waste water collection points at each pitch.

The season runs from 1st March to 31st October. Seasonal Pitches are available at a cost of £900, or 8 monthly payments of £125 by direct debit. Winter storage is also available; see Tarrifs 2007 for costs and other payment options. This includes winter storage.

This park is adult only - children can visit but cannot stay. Children may stay on our existing Caravan Club Park.

Slyne Caravan Park combines the tranquility of a small exclusive park with all the convenience of a location
just 1/2 mile from Morecambe Bay and close to the
historic City of Lancaster.It offers a haven for those wishing to escape the hurly
burly of an urban environment.This delightful park accommodates 82 Holiday Homes

The secluded, level grassy touring area of the park is protected by shelter belts of mixed deciduous trees. The park is a haven for a wildlife including barn owls, little owls, woodpeckers and brown hares.

50 pitches with electric hook up are available, 10 of which are hard standing. We also have a few non-electric pitches.
8 FULLY SERVICED PITCHES WILL BE AVAILABLE FO SUMMER 2006 complete with hard standing, electric hook-up, water supply and waste water disposal!

We have a well stocked site shop where you can buy newspapers, locally baked bread, fresh milk and eggs from nearby farms, ice cream and other groceries.

We have a small area with swings and a climbing frame. There is more to come as we further develop the site. The play area is unsupervised and we are not liable for any damages incurred from use of the play equipment. It is the parent's responsibility to make sure their children use the equipment in a safe responsible manner.
Dog Walk
We have provided a designated area where people can exercise their dogs off a lead. Outside the dog walk all dogs are to be kept on a lead. They are to be cleaned up after at all times. We consider this extremely important for the health and well being of all that use the site.
Toilet Block with Showers
We will be adding another toilet block in the near future with full service shower rooms as well as communal toilets with showers. We will also be adding a family room with a bath for parents with small children.
Elsan Point / Marine Toilet Emptying
This is centrally located on the site for easy access. There will be an additional one added in the future.
Launderette
We have a washer and dryer for public use. They take 2 £1 coins for each. They are provided by an outside firm and we are not able to refund any money lost due to not following the directions.
Visitors Parking
There is a parking area at the front of the site for visitors. We don't mind if people want to drive on and visit if there is space to park without blocking the road way. On Bank Holidays and busy weekends we prefer that people park at the front and walk wherever possible.
Calor Gas Sales
We carry a full range of gas bottles for the convenience of our customers.
Caravan & Camping accessories
We have a small caravan & camping accessory shop on site. We also sell various sweets, drinks, and ice creams.

We are situated mid way between historic Lancaster and the family seaside resort of Morecambe. It is a very friendly site, and reasonably quiet. The beauty of the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales is less than an hour's drive away, and for a really lively day out, Blackpool is about the same distance.Should you decide to stay with us, either for the odd night or two, or perhaps a week or two, we can assure you of a very warm welcome in beautiful surroundings. Every effort will be made to make your stay with us a happy one. After all, we would hope you would want to come again!A very interesting feature of the site, is that it can be cut off by the tide, The road you can see on the above picture is covered occasionally by a very high tide, usually when there is a full moon. For a better idea when this will happen see the appropriate tide table. There is also a very old pub next door which has quite a fascinating history. On a very big tide there can be quite a bore wave when the tide turns.

Westgate Caravan Park is situated close to the seaside resort of Morecambe and the historic city of Lancaster. The Caravan Park is maintained to a very high four star standard offering the facilities essential for an enjoyable break. We have a small friendly site shop and off-licence, laundrette, telephone and childrens play area. Reception hours are 9am to 5pm Monday to Saturday and 10:30am to 5pm on Sunday. We are open for private holiday homeowner's from the 1st of March until the 3rd of January the next year. We have hire caravans available from the Easter until mid October. We also have an area for 16 tourers sited adjacent the toilet and shower facilities.


Morecambe boasts one of the most outstanding areas of natural beauty in the North of England. Famous for its sea birds, sunsets and sandy beaches, you need never be at a loss for something to do. Perfect for old and young alike - if you want a quiet, relaxing break then Morecambe is ideal; if a holiday with lots of entertainment and plenty to do is your wish then that can all be found within a five mile radius.

The historic city of Lancaster with its Castle, Museums, Shopping, renowned Butterfly House, Parks and beautiful river walks is only five miles away. A frequent bus service is available to Lancaster and Morecambe and stops outside the gates of the Caravan Park.

Closer to hand the many attractions available are two excellent eighteen hole golf courses, sailing and wind surfing on the bay also sea and freshwater angling. For the more energetic there is swimming, tennis and riding. Situated on the promenade is the Superdome with entertainment throughout the summer season. Close to this is also a bowling alley and cinema.

In central Morecambe there is the Arndale shopping centre and four days each week the large covered Festival market to browse around. Happy Mount Park at the east end of the Promenade is a delight with its bowling, paddling pool, tennis courts, children’s play area, trampolines, restaurant and snack bar, gift shop - in fact something for everyone.


Further afield is the magnificent Lake District, ideal for a full day out with Lake Windermere and the bustling town of Bowness, Grassmere with its wealth of poetic history, Consiton, Rydal Water, Buttermere, and many more all with their own particular beauty. The Yorkshire Dales with their wild and contrasting views can be reached in a similar time to the Lakes approximately one hour.
