Heathfield Farm Camping is a small family park in the rural West Wight on the outskirts of Freshwater village. Less than two miles from Yarmouth ferry port, we are situated in the heart of the most magnificent walking countryside.The West Wight has some of the Islands most spectacular scenery. On a clear day the views from the National Trust’s Tennyson Down are breathtaking. The Needles and Alum Bay, famous for it’s coloured sands, is only two miles away. Nearby the historic harbour town of Yarmouth is ideal for sailing enthusiasts.Half of the Island is a designated ‘Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty’ and much of the seashore is Heritage Coast. There are 67 miles of spectacularly varied coastline, offering chalk and sandstone cliffs, rocky coves and sandy beaches. The Island is established as a walkers paradise with over 500 miles of well signposted footpaths, and many miles of rural cycle track. The modern amenity buildings have showers, toilets, separate wash cubicles, hair dryers and shaver points. There is a large separate wheelchair accessible shower and toilet room.The laundry room has a coin-operated washing machine, tumble dryer and ironing facilities. There is also a clothes washing sink. The adjoining dishwashing area has sinks with hot and cold water. There is a wheelchair access sink and also a separate food preparation sink.All facilities are maintained to a very high standard of cleanliness.We sell Camping Gaz and offer a freezer pack service in return for a donation to ‘Gift to Nature’, a local conservation charity.

There are two touring Parks set either side of the wooded valley at Ninham. The newer Park is open full season and provides easy highway access for all types of vehicles. It is also ideal for the family camper who require adjacent pitches and room for gazebos, pup tents etc. There are smaller pitches for back-packers and cyclists or conversely space for the large leisure units. All-service and super pitches available.
MOTORHOMES
Whether a campervan or an American RV we have pitch sizes to suit. Pitches are level with electric hook-ups and there is a central motor-home 'dump station' and water point. Refuelling and stocking of food supplies can be carried out at the nearby superstores
