Welcome to Elm Cottage Caravan Park situated in beautiful Vale Royal, the very heart of Mid- Cheshire on the A54 about 3 miles west of Winsford and 12 miles east of Chester, 1.5 miles from Oulton Park racing circuit.

Elm Cottage Caravan Park comprises of a 2 acre marked pitch, touring field, a 6.5 acre informal camping and rally field, with a heated toilet block with free showers.In addition to being an approved Calor Gas Dealer, Elm Cottage is also in a position to supply visitors with many other secondary services such as battery charging, an on-site tyre inflation facility, and morning newspapers. Cold drinks, ices, fresh milk and a few other essentials as well as the facility for freezing ice-packs are available from the site reception.

The site is open all year except 1st - 14th February. This 2 week closure period is occassionally altered slightly. Please check with the site for actual closing dates.

Well-behaved dogs and other pets are very welcome on the caravan park. Unfortunately we cannot allow them in the B & B or Self-Catering accommodations.

BBQ's are allowed as long as they are off the grass and any used charcoal and ashes are deposited in the designated metal bin.

Another popular local facility is the Shrewsbury Arms Public House, situated approximately 400 yards from the site entrance. The Shrewsbury provides local ales & freshly cooked food in a traditional country pub atmosphere.

Please note Elm Cottage is soley a touring/camping park and has no static caravans either on site or for hire.

Manor Wood Country Caravan Park is set amongst Cheshire farmland, which is currently farmed by Nigel and his brother. The Park sits neatly within the countryside and all the materials used to develop the park have been chosen carefully to blend in to the natural surroundings. The view across the Cheshire Plain is enviable and the Welsh hills offer a superb backdrop for spectacular sunsets.The tree lined Roman bridle way borders the Park and offers easy walking and cycling allowing the Cheshire countryside to be accessible to all.The wildlife is varied from the badgers sett to the buzzards flying. The kingfisher will keep an eye on you while you fish in the on-site lakes.

Birch Bank Farm is a small family run farm and has been in the family since 1844 . The farm is set in the Cheshire countryside and all that can been seen any direction from the camp site are surrounding fields and hill sides. The camp site itself is located 3 miles outside of the city centre and so is very handy for people wishing to see the city and all that it has to offer and yet far enough away from the hustle and bustle of city life. The farm itself is about 100 acres on which is grown cattle feeds for the winter months.

The camp site provides male and female toilets with wash facilities.Male and female showers with changing facilities.During the summer months we also have freezers for ice packs.There are water points located around the camp site and appropriate washing facilities for cooking utensils.For caravans, motor homes and tents there are electrical hook-ups available (for an extra cost)On site there is also a chemical toilet disposal point.

The camp site is open from May 1st until October 31st.

We also run a recycling scheme that we ask all visitors to follow.

Netherwood Touring Site is a peaceful, privately run country site situated 2 ½ miles south-east of Chester city centre, a mediaeval and beautiful walled city, on the River Dee. The entrance to the site is on the A41 Whitchurch Road. The 2-acre field, set behind the handsome Netherwood House, backs onto the Shropshire Union Canal.

Being completely separate from the rest of the park, the area for touring caravans is set in a beautiful woodland clearing, sheltered from the wind and providing a pleasant suntrap, with a small picturesque stream running by. All touring pitches are hard standing, with electricity supply and television hookup points.

The spacious centrally heated toilet and shower block is complete with facilities:- disabled/family room, dishwashing area, laundry and chemical emptying facility. All showers, and the use of hairdryers, are free. The season in which you are able to use your caravan is from March 1 to January 10.

Touring & Camping at the Royal Umpire Caravan Park
The Royal Umpire Caravan Park has a large touring area for Touring Caravans, Motor Homes, Trailer Tents and Tents with over 195 electric hook ups and fantastic on-site facilities. although please note that Tents are pitched on the Rally field area only and do not have electric hook ups available to them.

Well behaved dogs are very welcome but must be kept on a lead unless in the dog exercise area.

The site has excellent moorland views and footpaths. There are nearby woodlands, parks, leisure centres, ice rink, takeaway, restaurants, golf, fishing and horse riding. Local towns - Blackburn, Bolton and Darwen. The caravan park is situated between the new Roman Road and the original old Roman Road. A very warm and friendly run family unit on a working farm.

Bridgehouse Marina Caravan Park.
The caravan park is divided into two elements, Touring & Static.
The Touring area has 50 hard standing pitches with electric. There is an area for children to play. The modern toilet block is heated and contains showers, toilets, washing & shaving points, laundry, covered sinks to wash those dirty pots and pans and finally a toilet waste disposal point.

A lot of effort is put in to keeping the grounds tidy by our staff, so as to try and stay in keeping with its picturesque countryside location.
