It is approximately 5 miles from Whitby and 20 miles from Scarborough.Our aim is to provide a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere for everyone camping within a farming community. Come and enjoy the panoramic sea and country views, clearly visible from every pitch. All our accommodation is located within walking distance of the picturesque and internationally renowned fishing village of Robin Hoods Bay which forms the Eastern point of the Wainwright's "Coast to Coast" walk from St.Bees Head. There is also easy access to Whitby, spiritual home of the Endeavour replica, inspiration for the novel 'Dracula' and subject of the famous pictures of photographer Frank Meadow Sutcliffe as well as the location for hit TV show "Heartbeat". Needless to say, it is all excellent walking country and beach-combing is a popular pursuit for the discovery of fossils and semi-precious stones. The accommodation is easily accessible by public transport. |

| Candy Farm Camp Site is situated between Doncaster and Scunthorpe in South Yorkshire, on the border with the East Riding of Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire. The camping area is a small, level, screened, well drained site, which makes it suitable for disabled people. With 2 hard standing pitches, 4 electric hook-ups, a drinking water tap, chemical disposal point, a primitive toilet and in warm weather a small above ground pool and a shower. Candy Farm welcomes both caravans and tents and has space for 5 caravans and several tents on the campsite. You can sunbathe and watch the cows come home, go fishing, visit the local pubs, or go for quiet country walks with no hills to climb, amongst trees and lakes. Park The Caravan and Camping site is grassed, naturally level and served by well-lit, tarmac roads. Electricity supply points are available and a large enclosed toddlers and children's playground is situated close by, at the north end of the site. The Amenities Building is well-equipped and centrally heated. A security access system restricts the use of this facility to Campsite users only, as the Water Park is open and free to the public. The campsite is open from April to October inclusive. |
